For those of you that don’t know: “6 Degrees of Separation” is a monthly post hosted by Books are my Favorite and Best. They pick a book to start you off, and then you list the next book that comes to mind, then you go from that book to another book, creating a chain. You do this 6 times (so you have 7 books including the one you started with).
If you missed my past “6 Degrees of Separation” posts here they are:
This month’s starter is Less Than Zero:
I have never read this book, and probably never will. Its about the crazy drug filled night life in LA, or something, and its just not my style. Being a math major the number Zero catches my eye. Which reminds me of a documentary I saw once:
I know this is cheating a little bit because this is a documentary, not a book, but documentaries are like recorded books. (shhhh … if you don’t think about it too much, it makes sense) I actually really liked this documentary and it wasn’t nearly as boring as you would think. While I have “1” on the brain:
Yay! I love Dr. Seuss. Speaking of fish. The first book I saw my boyfriend ever buy was:
He isn’t a big reader. Actually he pretty much never reads. He did buy one other book that he thought he would like and he reads it when he is in the bathroom and forgets his phone (so very rarely):
Needless to say, he hasn’t read very much. This book is broken down into different stories of this guy’s life and I think my boyfriend has read 2 or 3 of them. The same Barnes & Noble trip where he bought this book I was looking for the sequel to:
They didn’t have the sequel in stock and I never ended up getting it, but I did buy one of her other books:
Unfortunately I never finished reading this one. I started it a couple times but it just wasn’t the right time. It is still in the TBR section of my bookshelf and I do plan on reading it eventually.
This month’s #6Degrees started and finished with books I have not read. That was sort of a theme for me this month since I have actually read only two of the books in my chain (# 2 is not a book, so I didn’t count it).
As always, I love this post and had so much fun making it! Let me know what you think and what books your chain included!
