3 Quotes, 3 Days Tag – Day 2

Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day)
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day

Yesterday my quote(s) were about the importance of reading to children.  I could easily make all three quotes about books and I could get away with it because this is a book blog but I won’t.

“I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Yes, this quote is from a book, but it is not about books! So I am #Winning! Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book and I love how the love story is gradual.  Just like in real life.  There is no insta-love.  And this quote sums it up perfectly!

Again I am not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do it then please do! Its fun!

    1. 😀 it was between that one and “I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book!” but that one always bugs me because it is said by Miss Bingley and only because she is trying to impress Mr. Darcy.
