Yesterday my quote(s) were about the importance of reading to children. I could easily make all three quotes about books and I could get away with it because this is a book blog but I won’t.
“I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
Yes, this quote is from a book, but it is not about books! So I am #Winning! Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book and I love how the love story is gradual. Just like in real life. There is no insta-love. And this quote sums it up perfectly!
Again I am not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do it then please do! Its fun!
Oh I love P&P. It always seemed so much more realistic than the romance books!

I’ve been addicted since I was a tween! Though I’ve come to love Persuasion just as much:)

Thats when I became addicted! I had to read it in High School and fell in love! I enjoyed all Austen’s books, but P&P is still my favorite.

When I did this challenge, I did Shakespeare. 🙂 Jane Austen is a great choice. Thanks for following friendlyfairytales and have a great week!

Shakespeare has some great quotes, but I have trouble reading his plays. Thank you for following me back! You have a great week as well 🙂

Oh I love this quote so much- when I saw you were doing the quote challenge, I hoped Pride and Prejudice would be on here 😉

😀 it was between that one and “I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book!” but that one always bugs me because it is said by Miss Bingley and only because she is trying to impress Mr. Darcy.
