Welcome to Harry Potter Week!!!!
June 26th marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter being released in the US!!!!! (its the 21st anniversary in the UK) To celebrate, Weird Zeal created a week long Harry Potter event! Each day there will be a different post to participate in! Check out Weird Zeal’s list of all the posts! I will probably not be participating in all of them, but I am looking forward to participating in some!
Top 7 Harry Potter Characters
It has been years since I watched the movies and even longer since I read the books. My love for HP hasn’t faded, but a lot of the specifics of the story have. So I know my top 7 are all main characters but they are the ones I still remember the most!
1) Hermione
I LOVE Hermione!!!! She is so smart and tough and amazing! She is by far the best character!
2) McGonagall
McGonagall is super strict but she is also super awesome!
3) Ron
Ron is just so quirky and fun, but he is also incredibly real and afraid of things. (mostly spiders)
4) Harry Potter
Of course you gotta love Harry
5) Neville
My love of Neville has nothing to do with Matthew Lewis. Nope! None whatsoever!
6) Sirius Black
I loved Sirius in the books but not so much in the movies.
7) Lupin
Lupin is just so kind and a cupcake but badass too!
Honorable Mention: Hagrid
I couldn’t leave Hagrid off! His love for beasts is just too sweet! Even tho the beasts are far from it.

Hagrid! Love ❤ Would you believe we watch the movies all the time? Lol. I love that my kids cherish the books and movies so much. Hard to believe it’s been 20 years!

Thats awesome that your kids love it! I don’t have kids yet and I don’t have enough time to rewatch them, But I really should make time! I can’t believe it has been 20 years! Its crazy!!

Hagrid is my favourite of all, then Harry. I feel differently about the characters in each book and/or movie.

Its been so long since I read the books or seen the movies that I can no longer separate them, but I am sure I would be the same way if I re-read then!

I kept thinking of more awesome characters to add to the list haha but I ran out of #s haha 😀 But I couldn’t leave Hagrid out!!! 😀

Great choices! I was thinking about this one and couldn’t narrow it down to seven 🙂 But Hermione would definitely be number one most of the time (on other days its Luna!)
