I just discovered that the 1995 BBC Pride and Prejudice TV Mini-Series is on Amazon Prime Video! I can watch it for free! (I own the DVD so I can always watch it for free. I don’t know why I was so excited to find it on Prime, but its the little things that make me happy!) I may or may not have stayed up till 2:30 am watching it last night. Getting up for work this morning was rough! But it was worth it! I don’t regret it whatsoever!
Two Words: Colin Firth
And we can’t forget Jennifer Ehle!
They are both amazing and I love them!
In case you couldn’t tell I love this adaptation! Its better than a movie because it is longer and therefore covers more, but it also isn’t a full TV Series so it isn’t too drawn out. Its perfect. I have watched it many, many times! Anyone who loves Pride and Prejudice needs to watch this adaptation! Ahhhhhh I just love it so much!!!
Perfectly Tolerable 
Colin Firth!!! He is the best:-) I just saw Love, Actually the other night and was drooling. Anyway, I love this production of P&P as well, I also own the DVDs:-)

Loved this film (but not so much this Elizabeth) I didn’t know it was on Prime! Time to give it a rewatch 🙂

I have watched this mini-series and really enjoyed it. I have not read the book, but if this is a good adaptation, then maybe I will get to it someday.

Somehow I’ve never watched this, despite loving Jane Austen, but now I really, really want to! Your use of Colin Firth gifs is very convincing 😉

Jennifer Ehle is definitely my favorite Lizzie! Although Colin Firth is super nice, MacFadyen will forever be my Darcy ❤

I just finished the Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Pride and Prejudice again. I’m pretty sure perfectly tolerable has to do with the movie because I thought of you as soon as I heard a certain phrase.
I doubt I’ll like the mini series as much but it’s Pride and Prejudice so who knows?
Have you read the book series Kat, Incorrigible? It is very pride and prejudice-ish.

Haha yes!! Perfectly Tolerable is based on the movie. In the book he just says “Tolerable” which doesn’t make as good of a blog name as “Perfectly Tolerable” 😀

This is a wonderful mini-series. I haven’t seen it in ages. (Although, I’ve watched who-knows how many times in the late 1990s!) Maybe it’s time for a re-watch?

Absolutely love Colin Firth. My mom has the biggest crush on him curtesy if this series. It’s the only true Pride and Prejudice in her mind!

Colin Firth was perfect as Mr Darcy! Jennifer Eale’s portrayal wasn’t quite what I imagined Elizabeth to be, she possess spirit sure, but none of the liveliness that I thought she would… in that sense, I preferred Keira Knightley’s performance in the film adaptation.

I had more problems with actress they picked for Jane, I did love Jennifer Eale tho ❤ Tho I also loved Keira Knightley too haha.

Ahhhh, I saw this on Prime the other day! I haven’t read the book yet, so I didn’t venture into the mini-series yet, but I’m really happy this adaptation is one of the good ones.
