I thought we’d see this author this week and I did also consider using one of her books. The covers have been lovely for this series. I think my favourite is the first but that could just be because of familiarity.
Great choice.

I read the movie tie in cover, but I own a couple of her other books and they are definitely in the same style as the one you picked. Thanks 🙂

I really love the middle choice of your “favorites”! This was actually the first book that came to my mind when I heard this theme:-)

I had to search a while to find a book for this theme, nothing came immediately to mind, but as soon as I saw this one I knew it was going to be the one (but I still googled it to make sure it was actually Tudor 😂😂 )

Way too many to choose from. There were so many I liked, including the one you chose.

Ewwwww the Remedium scared me off right away. I really like the Record and the Chinese version, though, but your choice is good, too!

Haha yea that one is bad! I feel like it shouldn’t be creepy but somehow it is 😂😂

I admit I like the movie cover but mainly because… Eric Bana. Which is also why I watched the movie but that’s a whole other story 🙂

Haha I don’t dislike the movie cover 😂 Its actually the one I read! As far as movie covers go its one of the least movie-like, if that makes any sense? The problem I have with it is that their poses are awkward and feel photo-shopped together

I love these kind of historical books, mainly because I love historical dresses and the covers usually feature them, haha. I loved the one you picked here!

The dresses are really pretty!! I really liked this one, but the other books I have read by her were kind of boring.

I have the winning cover! Ah, so happy to see Philippa Gregory. The Other Boleyn Girl is basically the gateway drug to Gregory’s books. Can’t wait to read more of her books this year after enjoying the Cousins War series.

Thats awesome! I have the Pocket Star movie tie in cover. I have tried a couple of her other books and they were a bit long and slow but I do thing that The Other Boleyn Girl is the perfect first book of hers to read!

Long and slow is just how I like it when it comes to historical fiction, but I do think that’s because I love history. Have you read The Constant Princess?

I haven’t. The only other one I have read is The Queen’s Fool. And it was good, but also slow and I am not a big fan of long and slow haha
