Sometimes I am an idiot.  I have no idea why, but I had no desire to read this! I knew everyone else loved it, and I thought the sequel sounded amazing, but this one just didn’t sound good.  But, I really wanted to read the sequel, so of course I had to read this one first!  Its a good thing I did because I loved it!

I am really not in the mood to write a review right now, (I want to get started on the sequel!) so I am going to keep this super duper short:

I loved this book! It is jammed packed with action and adventure and the narrator has a super sexy voice!  I can’t believe I waited this long to read it and I am going to start the next book right now!

Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to go turn on The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, and finish the puzzle I started while listening to The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue (I may have stayed up till 3:30 am last night finishing the audiobook and working on my puzzle)

  3. Okay, that is an AWESOME puzzle! I’ve been wanting to read the sequel too, but agree that the synopsis of this one didn’t do it for me. I guess I should read it anyway, though!

    1. Thanks ❤ I was super excited to find it randomly not even in the puzzle isle haha (someone had left it in a random isle and I figured it was fate that I found it!)

  6. Oh wow, I don’t know this book, but how great that you liked it so much. I sometimes listen to audiobooks, but I’d never thought to do a jigsaw puzzle while listening. Sometimes I’ll color while I’m listening, though. Hope you’re having a great night!

    1. Thanks 🙂 And I usually listen to audiobooks when I am driving, but sometimes I get so engrossed in them I need to listen at home too, but I always need to be doing something with my hands haha, so I often color or do puzzles while listening!

  21. I felt the exact same way! For whatever reason, even though everyone loved this book, I was hesitant to pick it up, but once I did I fell in love! The narrator was amazing too. I just finished this one and can’t wait to listen to book two!
