Friday Face Off: Blue

Friday Face Off is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, and run by Lynn’s Book Blog.

“How sweet to be a cloud, floating in the blue.”

This weeks theme:  A cover that is predominantly blue.

I am super excited for this prompt!!! Not only is blue my favorite color, but its also the first FFO of Wyrd & Wonder, and Fantasy is my favorite genre!!

There are soooooo many blue fantasy covers I could choose from! Here are some of them:

My Choice: Our Dark Duet

Covers:

Greenwillow 2017 | Herg Benet 2017 | Loewe 2019

Publik Praktikum 2017 | Unknown 2018 | Titan Books 2017

Least Favorite:

I like the idea of the shadows on the wall, but I don’t like how so much of the shadow of their legs is on the ground.

Winner:

I am not entirely sure what is going on with the “k” but I love the violin!

Which is your favorite? Do you agree with my choice? Let me know in the comments!!

  1. I haven’t read A Dark Duet but I do remember the violin in This Savage Song. I like the original Greenwillow 2017 blue cover the most. I wasn’t that thrilled with the story although I love vampires. Loved your pick this week.

  2. I very nearly did a display of blue covers but then didn’t roll with it so I’m so pleased you did – they all look fantastic. I love your choice of book and cover but I’m so drawn to the unknown one. How mysterious.

    1. Haha the unknown one is my second favorite! And I was surprised that goodreads didn’t have the publisher listed because it looks so professionally done! Usually the ones without a publisher are foreign or random small publishers and the covers aren’t very good.
