TOP 5 TUESDAY – TOP 5 BOOKS THAT START WITH K-L-M-N-O

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm. It is a weekly meme where you pick your top 5 books for a given topic.  This month’s topics are books that start with specific letter’s.  Today is K–L–M–N–O

Check out my past lists:

My goal is to pick one book from each letter that I have read and want to spotlight (not necessarily my favorite book, because Shanah’s goal is to spotlight books we love that are overshadowed by our normal favorites) and one book that is on my TBR!

K-12

The Kiss of Deception is an awesome multiple POV story where you don’t know who is who.  Its really well done and I enjoyed it a lot.  Unfortunately the rest of the series sucked (at least in my opinion, I know other people loved it)

Lets stick with the “Kiss” theme.  Kiss of the Royal has a really pretty cover but I don’t actually know what it is about.

L-7

As a tall-ish girl myself (5’10”) I can appreciate The Law of Tall Girls! All the short girls need to stop stealing the tall guys!!!

I didn’t have a ton of “L” books on my TBR but this one looks like a cool retelling of Little Red Riding Hood.

I bought Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil when I was 15 ish because we visited the location on which the story takes place.  Then, after I read it, I wanted to watch the movie, but it was rated R.  My parents let me watch it anyway because I had read the book, and it was the first ever R rated movie I watched (and it was one of 2 R rated movies that I watched before I turned 17)

My Lady’s Choosing sounds super fun! I loved choose your own story books as a kid and I would love to read an adult version!

Nimona is awesome!

I don’t know anything about #Nerd but I love the title!

Sarah Kuhn is one of my favorite authors! She wrote Heroine Complex and it is one of my all time favorite books ❤ One Con Glory is another one of Kuhn’s books and it was really good!

Odd & True sounds really good, and it isn’t the only Cat Winter’s book on my TBR.  I really need to read some of her books!

Have you read any of these?  Do you have books that hold random special memories that usually get pushed aside because your favorites tend to take the spotlight? Lets Chat!

  1. OMG, why do the tall guys always gravitate toward short girls? I always found that so frustrating.

Fun list! Though the cover model for The Kiss of Deception looks really uncomfortable.

      1. I started noticing odd cover poses after seeing Jim C. Hines try to recreate some of them. So funny, but also so telling when you compare male to female poses.

    1. Haha so I forgot for a minute that that was the title to one of the books I listed and I thought you were calling me a nerd 😂😂 (which is totally fine because I totally am!!) I wouldn’t be surprised if I added it to my TBR after seeing it on your blog! (assuming you have mentioned it before of course 😂 )

      1. I remembered seeing it the first time as a kid on my parents’ bookshelf and the title just pulled me in! I didn’t read it until much later, but still, for some reason that’s been a memory that sticks out from my younger days! 😂

  2. Slowly catching up with everyone’s Top 5 Tuesday posts. 😉 I’ve been a fan of John Cusack for a number of decades now so of course I’ve seen Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but haven’t read the book. There are some gorgeous book covers in your list and will be checking out the Red Riding hood one as well as Odd & True.

Here’s my Top 5 Tuesday post so you can see my K,L,M,N & O choices. 😉

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and enjoy this week’s reads.
