My Choice: One For The Money
This week was hard just because there were so many I could choose from!
Covers:
Griffin 2006 | Simon and Schuster 1999 | Scribner 1999 | Scribner 2019
Penguin 1996 | Penguin 1995 | TEA 2008 | Pocket 2004
Word Factory 2012 | WSOY 2008 | Porch of the Universe 2008 | Ulpius house 2008
Pocket 2012 | Pocket 2013 | Edging 2017 | Crown Culture Publishing 2010
I’m surprised how many covers there are for this! I only picked the ones that stood out to me, which was less than half of the total covers!
Least Favorites:
The only reason I don’t like the middle one is because it looks like the gun is pointed at her head.

Winner:
Because I have read this whole series, I have an idea of what Stephanie looks like based on descriptions in the book. She is Italian, in New Jersey with Big Hair. She is also pretty, clutzy and always having a rough time. I agree that of all the ones with pictures of her on the cover your choice is the best, but I think I prefer one without the illustration like the Scribner 1999 one.

I think I read the first 8 or so? Didn’t she also have red hair? I remember being surprised and disappointed with their casting choice even though I love Katherine Heigl. I am kind of surprised that none of the covers did a better job of drawing her! The only reason I didn’t like the Scribner 1999 one was because it looks too much like a standard mystery and since I am not a huge fan of mysteries, I probably wouldn’t have read this series if that was the cover I had seen.

Makes sense. I have read all but the last two. I just haven’t had time to catch up.

I think I’ll go with the Griffin 2006 cause all I can think with the others is that’s not Stephanie- that and they really should do a Netflix series or something. The book were such fun!

The Griffin 2006 was the one I read! And I was kind of surprised that none of the covers really got her look right! You would think it wouldn’t be that hard!

Wow lots of variety with these. I think I like the Griffin cover the best, but maybe that’s just because I’ve seen it so much?

That is the cover I had and read! But I was super surprised at how many different covers there were!

Hmm, tough one this week. I like a lot of these, but none of them really stand out, if you know what I mean! I think I like the Porch of the Universe edition best.

I know what you mean! There were ones I liked but I didn’t love any of them!

Good old Stephanie Plum! I didn’t realize this had so many covers- it’s hard to pick a favorite!

I didn’t even show all the covers! I was super shocked at how many different covers there were. I didn’t realize it was that popular of a book.

I think they are hugely popular- but I rarely see more than the one green plain cover.

Wow, I had no idea this book had so many different covers. The one you picked is my favorite too because I love the cartoon drawing of Stephanie Plum. I also kind of liked the 1995 Penguin. I can’t decide if it really ties in well with the book but it looks cool, lol.

I didn’t either! And I liked the 95′ Penguin one too, but the car earring ruined it for me 😂 😂

Great choice! I really like the Penguin 1995 cover, but there are quite a few good ones here😊

Thanks 😀 I think I would have liked the 95′ Penguin cover better if it weren’t for the car earring 😂

I would go with that one too Brittany but I had no idea it was made into a movie!

I don’t think it did very well 😂 but I liked it!

Nice one, I keep forgetting they made that a movie. I love the one you picked, it’s fun, just like the books.

Exactly! That is what I thought too 🙂 And they made her hair red 😂

Great choice – not seen this movie but the covers make it look fun. I like the Penguin 95 – it just jumped out at me.
