I am totally stealing this topic from yesterday’s Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) but I am going to change it up a bit and explore all the books I have read with numbers in the title! (I also stole that idea from Jamie @ Books and Waffles)
I have decided to count First, Second, Third etc. But I am not counting Vol 1, Vol 2, etc. and I am not counting any Stephanie Plum novels (because I have read 1-17 and that would cover all the numbers)
One
- One Con Glory
- Ready Player One
- No One Else Like You
- First and Only Destiny
- The One
- Wizard’s First Rule
- One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Two
- Second Hand Curses
- Secondborn
- The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner
- The Two Towers
- A Tale of Two Cities
- Two Little Girls in Blue
- Walk Two Moons
- The Second Summer of the Sisterhood
- A Tale of Two Daddies
- A Tale of Two Mommies
Three
- The Three Musketeers
Four
- I Am Number Four
- The Sign of Four
- Four: A Divergent Story Collection
Five
- How to Give Your Cat a Bath: In Five Easy Steps
- Five Smooth Stones : Hope’s Diary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1776
Six
Apparently 6 is the loneliest number since I haven’t read a single book with 6 in the title?
Seven
- Rise of the Seven
- The Seven Chinese Brothers
Eight
- Pieces of Eight
Nine
- Nine Perfect Strangers
Other
- My Very 90s Romance
- 1984
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
- Janey G. Blue: Pearl Harbor, 1941
- Nell Dunne: Ellis Island, 1904
- Life of Pi
Stephanie Plum
- One for the Money
- Two for the Dough
- Three to Get Deadly
- Four to Score
- High Five
- Hot Six
- Seven Up
- Hard Eight
- To the Nines
- Ten Big Ones
- Eleven on Top
- Twelve Sharp
- Lean Mean Thirteen
- Fearless Fourteen
- Finger Lickin’ Fifteen
- Sizzling Sixteen
- Smokin’ Seventeen
This was fun! I was surprised that only 1 number didn’t have a book I have read. (And technically I have read a 6 book because of the Stephanie Plum Series) Also I would have guessed 4 was my most read number but 2 won by a landslide!
“11/22/63” by Stephen King.

That one has lots of numbers! Haha I know a lot of people like it but I don’t read scary books so I probably won’t read that one 😂

One Fish, Two Fish! 😍 Have you read Six of Crows? You’ve listed so many books for this prompt and I struggled so hard to even come up with 10 rando ones haha Great TTT 🙂

Haha I have not, but that could have worked for 6! And I want to read it some day! Were you trying to think of them off the top of your head or did you look through your goodreads read books? I couldn’t think of any so I looked on goodreads and was surprised to find so many!

Hmmm. Wonder what I’d find if I explored the books I’ve read.
🤣🤣 How to Give Your Cat a Bath…. Step One: attire yourself in a fencer’s suit, followed by a leather welder’s vest and long leather falconer gloves.

Haha you should! I was surprised at how many books I have read with numbers in the title!
And you aren’t far off from the tone of the book 😂😂 Step 1 fill up the bath .. step two try and find your cat … step 3 start all over again because the water got cold 😂

This was so fun to read! I’m glad you “stole” it from me. I had a hard time finding books for 6, 7, and 8 as well.
Great list. 🙂

This is so fun! I love, LOVE that you included pi!
When I wrote this post, I used only books from my TBR, and single-digit numbers were waaaay outnumbered by books with “thousand” in the title. That really surprised me.

Haha Thanks! I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that 😂😂 Pi is totally a number!!!
That is super weird because Jamie @ Books and Waffles included “thousand” as a bonus because she had so many too, but I haven’t read a single book with “thousand” in the title!

I don’t know if I’ve read any books with “thousand” in the title yet, but they’re all over my TBR!

Wow, that’s a lot of numbers. Truth be told, I struggled to think of a lot of books with numbers in them, forgetting that the book I’m currently reading (The Two Towers) is one of them haha.

Haha I had to look through all the books I have read on Goodreads, I would have never thought of most of these otherwise 😂😂 And that sounds like something I would do 😂
