I first saw this book over at Book Beach Bunny’s Blog and knew I had to read it! I didn’t read her review and I didn’t read the synopsis. I saw the title of her post and immediately bought the book. I LOVE Pride and Prejudice and I LOVE Dragons!!! I was so ridiculously excited for a book that combined both!!!
I was not disappointed!!! This book was amazing! I don’t even know what to say about it other than I am in love with it!
Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book and fantasy is my favorite genre. Heartstone is a fantasy re-telling of Pride and Prejudice!!! What could be more perfect than that?!?!
I feel like I should say some normal stuff about how great the characters were and how the ending deviated from the main story more than the rest of the book and blah blah blah
Really all you need to know is that Heartstone is
Pride and Prejudice with Dragons!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! These are two of my fave things in the world and this book combines them perfectly. Haha I love that your review is just freaking out about the fact that it’s PRIDE AND PREJUDICE WITH DRAGONS. What more could you really ask for???

Had a great time with this one! I liked how she stuck close to the original story, but the highlight of the book was definitely her world-building.

Ooh 5 stars! Nice. I remember seeing this one and I ALMOST got it- but then decided to wait. P &P w/ dragons though- I guess I better get it. 🙂

Based solely on the cover I probably wouldn’t have picked it up, but Book Beach Bunny pointed out it was P&P w/ Dragons and I am so glad I read it! If you read it I hope you love it too!

I devoured this book last year and then just could not stop raving about it to anyone I knew who was a reader, liked P&P, or liked dragons. I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next.
