I have read Harry Potter and have Sherwood on my TBR. I love those dog gifs, they are having so much fun. I love Fall.

To me Harry Potter is always best watched and read in the fall or winter. I think it might be the school setting. Uprooted is a great Fall pick as well!

I read Sky in the Deep and liked it. It wasn’t OUTSTANDING or anything but it was solid. Sherwood I’ve had my eye on…

I’ve read 4 of these, and I definitely see Harry Potter and Sky in the Deep as great books that feel like fall😁

I’ve read three of these (HP, P&P, Uprooted) — and I can’t think of a season when I wouldn’t want to read them! 🙂 Great choices.

I agree that the Harry Potter books make great fall reads. There’s just something about starting those books in the same season when they start that makes a lot of sense.
I really want to try Sherwood. I’m thinking of picking up the Audible version, but haven’t fully decided yet.

Yes exactly! They have that back to school fall feeling, even though I’m not in school anymore, they just feel like fall! I hope you love Sherwood! I read the physical book, so I don’t know if the Audiobook is any good, but I’m sure it is 🙂

Thanks! And I know I like the narrator who reads the audiobook, but some books are just better suited to certain formats and I’m not sure if this is one of them. (For example, I don’t like listening to romance novels in audio because it makes feels awkward to listen to love scenes, so that is one genre I will always read for myself.)

I don’t like listening to romances on audiobook either 😂 (for the same reason as you!) There are also some books that have a lot of footnotes or time jumps and I don’t like to listen to those on audiobook because I get a bit lost. But I can’t think of anything that Sherwood has that wouldn’t translate right into an audiobook 😀

Harry Potter is definitely a fall book 🙂 I’ve been tempted by Sherwood for quite some time now, I hope I’ll be able to pick it up soon !!

You can never go wrong with Pride and Prejudice or Harry Potter—those are two of my all-time favorites. Makes me want to read the others 😀
